When you watch the final film, pay close attention to the grass and the rocks and all of the buildings. Like the school in particular (from both angles). Or, say, the stonework on Geppetto's house. And also try to imagine a very brief establishing shot of a bridge with a bunch of buildings that wasn't in the final movie. You might be thinking "you did all of the stonework on the bridge and also all of the buildings and they cut it from the movie? Must have been bad." Guess again! That's just showbiz, baby.
